Moynihan Station East and West, Manhattan

Moynihan Station West: The adaptive reuse of the James A. Farley Post Office in Manhattan to accommodate the expansion of the existing Pennsylvania Station. As Senior Designer, Nizam Kizilsencer was one of the design leaders in this grand project through the end of the design development while employed with Skidmore, Owings & Merrill, LLP. The project was cancelled after that phase.

Moynihan Station East: The design of a new railroad station and 5.5 million square feet of civic development on the site of the existing Pennsylvania Station in Manhattan. As Senior Designer, Nizam Kizilsencer was one of the design leaders in this grand project while employed with Skidmore, Owings & Merrill, LLP, The project was stopped after a series of planning and concept design studies.
