For this project, we were brought on board to address three key concerns: excessive noise caused by the restaurant’s hard surfaces, inadequate lighting, and a visually cluttered ceiling with disorganized utilitarian elements. Our solution introduced a custom ceiling cloud design that not only significantly reduced the noise levels through acoustic dampening but also transformed the ceiling into a striking architectural feature.
The pleated, faceted panels created a dynamic, three-dimensional landscape overhead. By integrating spot uplights, these acoustic surfaces were transformed into reflective elements, enhancing the dimensionality of the space and creating an immersive, experiential atmosphere. This intervention turned a previously busy and disjointed ceiling into an organized, visually engaging focal point, contributing to a warmer and more intimate dining experience.
